Surrey Hills Country Property
The property comprised a significant grade II listed farmhouse located on the Surrey/Sussex border, together with various outbuildings, two cottages and 40 acres of land. The house had been marketed by a large country 'brand' estate agent with no success.
On being instructed, Coverwood carried out a full planning audit to work out what would be achievable. Following this, a detailed costing exercise was carried out to help potential purchasers understand the issues involved. A marketing strategy was designed to help sell the opportunity resulting in a successful sale via competitive informal tender (during a recession!)
Planning Audit, Build Works Costing & Marketing

The project comprised a small bungalow built in the 1950's located in the Surrey Hills. The property was structurally sound and following a costing and sale value exercise audit over whether the property should be replaced or extended the evidence promoted a remodelling exercise together with utilisation of the new general permitted development rights (PD.)
The plans produced by Coverwood were then used in the marketing programme resulting in an asking price deal.
Redevelopment Audit and Sale
Acting on behalf of a complicated family trust, Coverwood was instructed at the outset to advise on probate values, a short term letting strategy, planning audit and ultimate disposal strategy.
The 30 acre site with lake and south coast views suited a complete redevelopment. Calculations and gross development values determined by Coverwood were used to underpin the marketing programme resulting in a bidding war and the target asking price being achieved by Coverwood.
Again a maximised asset value for our client.
Probate, Planning and Marketing
Coverwood are retained by various landlords to let and manage their properties.
