Coverwood Chartered Surveyors and Property Agents, retained advisers to London's newest and most exciting science and technical park Londoneast are pleased to announce that the external upgrades to The Hub are nearing completion.

Londoneast provides a mixed business space platform with laboratories, clean rooms, warehousing and offices available to let. The site currently plays host to a regular stream of film and television companies but alongside these top end productions a growing number of businesses are making Londoneast their home. Coverwood were appointed to mitigate the inheritance tax due on a clients childhood home in the Surrey Hills. The report considered a detailed analysis of the local residential market whilst reviewing the size, condition and location of the property. The value backed up by evidence demonstrated a significant saving over the usual approach where an average of three estate agent valuations are taken. The next stage will be to look at the development options for the site and to work up the planning to add value.

Coverwood have been involved in the regeneration of the former Sanofi pharmceutical manufacturing plant since 2009. In 2014 the site was acquired by Londoneast UK and is set to become London's leading science and technical park. As part of the regeneration of the site a 50,000 sq ft laboratory building now known as The Cube has been refurbished and launched by the mayor of London Sadiq Khan, We are pleased to announce that the first tenant Sensor Coating Systems have now taken occupation on the 2nd floor and a number of prospective occupiers and currently discussing terms.
